Exchange traded fund providers are busy working towards submitting applications to launch retail-oriented crypto futures ETFs after the local regulator announced it would open the door to such products.

Lawmakers plan to investigate the failure of FTX, the large crypto exchange that collapsed last week and filed for bankruptcy protection, leaving investors and customers staring at losses that could total in the billions of dollars.

The Baker Hughes Rig Count is an important business barometer for the drilling industry and its suppliers. Active drilling rigs consume products and services produced by the oil service industry.

PT Current Account Balance

The Current Account measures net flow of current transactions, including goods, services and interest payments into and out of the local economy.

JP CFTC JPY NC Net Positions

The weekly Commitments of Traders (COT) report provides information on the size and the direction of the positions taken. The report focuses on speculative positions. Japan’s CFTC JPY NC Net Positions will be released at 20:30 GMT, the UK’s GfK Consumer Confidence at 00:01 GMT, the UK’s Retail Sales at 07:00 GMT.

The GfK Group Consumer Confidence is a leading index that measures the level of consumer confidence in economic activity.

UK Retail Sales

The Retail Sales measures the total receipts of retail stores. Monthly percent changes reflect the rate of change of such sales.
